Meet Mark Krstic - 2025 LET Scholar

Dr. Mark Krstic is the Managing Director of the Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI), where he leads with more than 28 years of experience in grape and wine research, development, and extension. His extensive background includes key roles at the AWRI, the Grape and Wine Research and Development Corporation, the Victorian Government, and CSIRO.

A respected leader in the field, Dr. Krstic is an Adjunct Professor at Macquarie University and a graduate of the 2010 Wine Industry Future Leaders Program. He also chairs the Australian Wine Industry Technical Conference Inc. and serves on the board of the National Wine Foundation. His past roles include President of the Australian Society of Viticulture and Oenology.
